Some survey participants claimed to have good knowledge of traffic rules, while others admitted they were unsure about their understanding of road signs.
Many drivers noted that they obtained their driver's licenses 20–39 years ago; however, despite such experience, many of them cannot name a significant number of road signs.
This raid covers all districts and cities of the Issyk-Kul region.
Traffic police urged drivers to adhere to traffic rules and monitor their speed. They also strongly recommended that taxi drivers obtain licenses.
Currently, in the administrative center of the Issyk-Kul region, licenses have already been issued for 800 taxi drivers.
