In the city of Osh, work has begun on the construction of a new educational institution that will replace the dilapidated building with a century-long history. The Ministry of Construction announced this event.
According to information from the department, as part of the directive from President Sadyr Japarov, the demolition of the old building of School No. 3 named after M.V. Lomonosov, located at: Kurmanjan-Datka St., 97, in the Suleiman-Too area, will be carried out.
As a result, a modern school designed for 750 students will be built in its place. The project will be funded from the republican budget, and the completion of construction work is planned for the end of 2026.
The old building, constructed in 1926, is currently in critical condition. Work on its demolition has already begun.
