In 2026, new seedlings will be planted in Bishkek to replace old trees that have suffered from pests and insufficient irrigation. Additionally, modern irrigation systems are planned to be installed for the effective growth of plants.

At a meeting of the board, the mayor of the capital, Aibek Junushaliev, announced plans to develop walking areas along the Ala-Archa River and the Big Chui Canal.

As part of the project, a nursery covering 48 hectares is to be created, five modern greenhouses with a total area of 9,600 square meters will be built, and 50 thousand seedlings will be purchased. A total of 21 km of irrigation pipelines will also be laid, and more than 5 km of irrigation systems will be installed.

Work on cleaning the riverbeds of the Alamudun and Ala-Archa rivers will continue, including garbage removal and the preparation of recreation areas for local residents and investors interested in ecological and recreational projects.
