This information was announced by the press service of the Department of Road Safety under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Osh region.
According to the agency's data, this innovation became possible due to the KR Law dated February 15, 2023, No. 27, which amends several legislative acts related to road safety. The changes also pertain to Article 37, Part 1 of the KR Code on Offenses.
The serious violations for which drivers will be forced to retake the exam include:
- driving a vehicle without a state registration number;
- ignoring lawful demands to stop the vehicle;
- exceeding the speed limit by more than 40 km/h or more than 60 km/h;
- failing to yield to vehicles with activated special signals;
- crossing into oncoming traffic while overtaking or violating maneuvering rules;
- violations that result in damage to road objects or other property;
- traffic accidents causing harm to the health of victims;
- allowing individuals who are intoxicated or do not have a driving license to operate a vehicle.
The press service noted that this measure is aimed at reducing the number of traffic accidents and increasing driver responsibility.
