On February 16, a swan that could not fly was found in the agricultural lands of Shabdan, two kilometers from the Chon-Kemin State Nature Park. This was reported by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the ministry, local residents caught the bird and handed it over to park workers for protection. An official act was drawn up in this regard, and the swan was sent to a rehabilitation center for animals. Currently, specialists at the center are conducting a veterinary examination and providing the necessary rehabilitation assistance.
The ministry urges the public to treat wild animals with respect, to avoid illegal capture and harm, and to promptly report such cases to the relevant authorities.
