At the meeting of the committee on industrial policy, transport, and other issues, Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Bakyt Chomoev raised the issue of constructing an underground pedestrian crossing on the Bishkek–Kara-Balta highway. He noted that there is a school in the area, and due to the heavy traffic, there are often incidents involving students.
In response, the First Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Beknazar Bazaraliev reported that the construction of the crossing at the 28th kilometer has already been included in the title list for the current year, and funding of 10 million soms has been allocated.
