Today, at 12:10, avalanches occurred at two sites in the Chychkan Gorge on the Bishkek–Osh highway. This was reported by the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
It has been reported that traffic on the Bishkek–Osh route is temporarily suspended for all types of vehicles at the checkpoints "Sosnovka" and "Aral".
According to preliminary data, the length of the avalanche is approximately 100 meters, and its height reaches 5 meters.
The road is being cleared by the road maintenance enterprise No. 23 using special equipment. Clearing operations are ongoing.
