It is worth noting that many countries, such as Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Brunei, Oman, Singapore, Australia, Japan, Pakistan, India, Malaysia, and South Korea, have also announced February 19 as the beginning of Ramadan.
In addition, the European Council for Fatwas and Research has confirmed that February 19 will be the first day of the month of Ramadan.
