On February 23, 2026, a rally was held at the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic in honor of Defender of the Fatherland Day, attended by military personnel from the ministry's management structures.
The event was attended by the Minister of Defense, Major General Ruslan Mukambetov, who emphasized the importance of social support for military personnel in his address. He noted that the government continues to pay attention to issues related to providing housing for military personnel and the construction of modern military towns with developed infrastructure. "We intend to continue developing these areas, enhancing the status of our military personnel," the minister added.
At the conclusion of the rally, an order "On the Encouragement of the Personnel of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic" was announced, under which the most distinguished military personnel received awards, including medals and certificates from the Minister of Defense.
