The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic has confirmed that about 360 compatriots currently in the United Arab Emirates will be returned to their homeland. Repatriation flights are scheduled for the night of March 4-5, with two flights planned through the Sultanate of Oman, each capable of accommodating 180 passengers.
This return became possible thanks to the directive of President Sadyr Japarov, who initiated the organization of flights for compatriots in the UAE.
Despite a number of technical issues and the complex situation in the region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and diplomatic missions managed to secure a safe air corridor.
“Women, children, and elderly citizens will be given priority for boarding the flights,” the official statement notes. The coordination of the process is being carried out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in conjunction with the relevant state institutions and foreign representations.
