At a recent meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Bakhtiyar Kalpaev raised a serious issue regarding the provision of drinking water to residents of villages.
He pointed out that, despite the work carried out, the level of water supply remains extremely low — only 42%.
According to him, in some localities, water is supplied only one to two hours a day, and local residents are forced to collect it from the river. In particular, he emphasized the need for oversight in the design of water supply systems in the villages of Tort-Kul, Karabak, Ak-Turpak, and Mold-Niyaz in Batken," he added.
