In the city of Kyzyl-Kiya, awards were presented to the winners of international tournaments

On March 5, a ceremony was held at the Kyzyl-Kiya City Hall, where athletes and representatives from the education sector who excelled in republican and international competitions were awarded.

The Mayor of the city, Altynbek Bekturov, and the Chairman of the City Council, Asylbek Murzaev, welcomed the laureates, presenting them with honorary certificates and cash prizes for their contribution to the promotion of Kyzyl-Kiya.

In particular, attention was drawn to the achievements of local athletes at major sporting events:

- In billiards, Azizhon Madaminov from Kyzyl-Kiya took first place and received the main prize at the III International Tournament for the "Start CIS – 2026" Cup, which took place in Bishkek from February 11 to 15. The competition featured 128 athletes from five countries.

- At the Kyrgyzstan Boxing Championship for teenagers aged 13–14 in Osh, gold medals were won by Asad Kadyrzhanov and Mukhammed Berdikulov. Among the girls, Raiana Mamyrzhanova took second place, and Diana Akmatova took third.

- In Greco-Roman wrestling at the KR Championship for wrestlers under 20 in Bishkek, Elbek Turgunov won a silver medal, while bronze medals went to Muslim Mamyrов and Abdimalik Sadirov.

- In taekwondo, Kamila Kursanova took first place at the republican tournament, and Mukhriddin Kurvanaliev became the winner of the city and regional table tennis competitions.

Additionally, Akmaral Momunova received an award from the city hall, having been recognized as the "Best Educator of the CIS" at an international competition in Astana and awarded the title of "Inspiring Director" at the World School Summit in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).
