According to the press service, from November 21 to 30 of this year, in Abu Dhabi (UAE) at the world championship, a student of the children's and youth sports school of the city of Manas, Khojakbar Kambarov, became the champion in the weight category of 51 kg. Also, at the veterans' world championship, Tahir Marasulov took first place, bringing glory to the country.
In Almaty in November, at the world championship in toguz korgool, Upol Abdymomunova became the champion among youth and girls, taking first place. In the same tournament, bronze medals were won by Akmaral Sadykova and Nurbolot Zamirov.
Additionally, at the Asian championship in toguz korgool, which also took place in Almaty, Akmaral Sadykova and Begimzhan Zamirova won bronze medals.
At the world championship in belt wrestling, which was held in Khujayra (UAE), Abubakir Shamsheev and Myrzaiym Shaibekova won third places among adults and girls, respectively.
The head of the region noted that the successes of the athletes on the international stage are the result of hard work and dedication to sports. He also emphasized the importance of supporting youth and presented awards to the athletes.
