
On February 13, 2026, in Bishkek, at the "Zhashtyk" arena, the international wrestling tournament Super 4 Wrestling was held, gathering top-level wrestlers in five weight categories. The event attracted over 5,000 spectators, creating an atmosphere of a true sports celebration and active support for the participants.
The main attention of the audience was drawn to the key match in Greco-Roman wrestling, where Akjol Makhmudov from Kyrgyzstan faced Aik Mnatsakanyan from Bulgaria. As a result of a tense bout, Akjol Makhmudov emerged victorious.
As a result of the competition, the Kyrgyzstan national team won 2 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals.
Present at the opening ceremony of the tournament were the mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, the general director of the international platform USP and project author Kazimir Bayramukov, as well as the vice-president of the Wrestling Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ulan Sultanov.
Aibek Junushaliev emphasized the importance of holding a tournament of this scale for strengthening international sports ties. He also noted that the mayor's office always supports such initiatives. Speaking about the development of sports infrastructure, the mayor mentioned the construction of the "Zhashtyk" and "Alga" arenas, as well as plans for the modernization of the Sports Palace in accordance with international standards. He wished the athletes good luck and the judges impartial officiating.
