
Currently, adverse weather conditions are observed at the main mountain passes of Kyrgyzstan. According to information from the State Enterprise "Kyrgyzavtozhol-Tunduk," as of 09:30, snow is falling in some areas.
At the Töö-Ashuu pass, a temporary restriction for heavy trucks has been in place since March 10.
At the Ötmäk pass, on the Suusamyr — Talas — Taraz route, the weather is also cloudy; however, traffic is not restricted.
Cloudy conditions are observed at the Sööк passes, as well as on the Barskoon — Ak-Shiyrak road and Chon-Ashuu, on the Karakol — Enilchek route. Travel in these areas remains free.
In addition, difficult weather conditions are recorded at the Dolon, Char, Ak-Beyit, and Kubak passes, located on the Bishkek — Naryn — Torugart route, as well as in the Boom Gorge. Traffic is operating as usual.
According to service data, from March 10 to 15, there is a risk of snow avalanches in the mountainous areas of Kyrgyzstan. Ice formation is also possible on the roads.
Drivers are advised to maintain a distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles and exercise increased caution when traveling in mountainous areas.
