As of the morning of December 8, according to the state company "Kyrgyzavtozhol," all key mountain passes in the country are functioning without restrictions, and traffic is proceeding as usual.
Road service specialists are actively monitoring the condition of the roads, clearing the routes of snow and treating them with inert materials to ensure safe passage.
At the Töö-Ashuu pass, located on the Bishkek — Osh route, snowfall is observed; however, the road remains open to vehicles. Similar weather conditions are being faced on the Karakol — Eңilchek routes and the Ötmök pass; it is snowing, but traffic is not halted.
At the Söök pass, where the Barskoon — Ak-Shiyrak road runs, the weather is cloudy, but passage is fully accessible.
Snowfall is also continuing at the Dolon pass on the Bishkek — Naryn — Torugart route. Meanwhile, at the Kyzyl-Bel, Char, Ak-Beyit, Tüz-Bel, Kubak, and in the Boom Gorge, variable cloudy conditions are observed, and traffic is proceeding without restrictions.
Road services urge drivers to adhere to speed limits and pay attention to weather conditions when planning their trips.
