Restrictions have been introduced for traffic on the Kynda Pass on the At-Bashi – Kynda – Torugart road in the Naryn region. From November 6 until April 1, 2026, traffic on this section, covering the mileage from 65 to 73, will be closed, as reported by the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
The closure is due to a high level of avalanche danger and adverse weather conditions typical for the winter period.
In addition, the closure of the Kalmak-Ashuu Pass is expected in the coming days. As a precaution, the Kara-Buura and Sary-Kyr passes located in the Jalal-Abad region have already been closed.
Road services have already installed warning signs and recommend that drivers plan their routes in advance, taking seasonal restrictions into account.
