As of 11:00 AM on January 2 of this year, information from the press service of the Ministry of Transport indicates that traffic at the main automobile passes of the republic is proceeding without any restrictions.
Clear weather has settled at the Too-Ashuu pass, located on the Bishkek – Osh highway, allowing for normal passage. A similar situation is observed at the Soook pass on the Barskoon – Ak-Shiyrak route, as well as at the Chon-Ashuu on the Karakol – Enilchek route — clear weather and open traffic are also noted here.
On the Bishkek–Naryn–Torugart section, including the Dolon, Char, Ak-Beyit, Kubak, and Boom Gorge passes, road traffic is also proceeding without restrictions in favorable weather conditions.
At the Otmok pass, which is on the Suusamyr – Talas – Taraz route, clear weather is also recorded, confirming the possibility of unobstructed passage.
Road services continue to carry out daily work to ensure safety on all roads and passes in the country. Drivers are advised to take winter conditions into account, prepare their vehicles in advance, use winter tires, and have the necessary accessories while strictly following traffic rules.
