According to their information, the restrictions for heavy trucks have been lifted at the Ala-Bel pass, which is located on the Bishkek — Osh highway. The weather at the Too-Ashuu pass is cloudy, but traffic is also free. At the Soook pass, where the Barskoon — Ak-Shiyrak road runs, the weather is clear and the road is open. Traffic has also been restored on the Karakol — Enilchek highway after road workers cleared the aftermath of a snow avalanche. Currently, work is ongoing to widen the roadway.
On the section of the Osh — Sary-Tash — Irkeshtam road from the 53rd to the 61st kilometer, a temporary traffic jam formed; however, the situation was quickly resolved by the road maintenance service (DMP) No. 959. As a result, the highway is again open for passage.
As for the Otmok pass on the Suusamyr — Talas — Taraz road, cloudy conditions are also observed there, but passage is permitted. At the same time, the Kara-Goo pass on the Kazarman — Aktalchat highway remains closed until weather conditions improve, and an alternative route is provided for drivers.
The Ministry of Transport strongly recommends that drivers change summer tires to winter ones and carry the necessary equipment, as well as comply with traffic rules.
