The Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kyrgyzstan reports the introduction of movement restrictions due to heavy snowfall affecting most regions of the country. The agency is organizing round-the-clock road clearing operations, as well as treating the roadway with sand and salt.
As of 9:30 AM on December 8, snow has fallen in the following areas:

Temporary Restrictions for Heavy Vehicles
At the same time, temporary restrictions have been established for the movement of heavy vehicles on the passes:
The Ministry added that information regarding the lifting of restrictions will be provided later.
The road maintenance enterprises "Kyrgyz Avtodorogi - South" and "Kyrgyz Avtodorogi - North" are monitoring their assigned sections and organizing special shifts for snow removal and spreading of inert materials.
