Restrictions for heavy vehicles have been lifted on two other passes
According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, as of December 11, at 10:00, restrictions on the passage of trucks have been lifted on the Dolon pass in the Naryn region, as well as on the Ala-Bel pass on the Bishkek–Osh highway.
“However, on the section of the Bishkek–Naryn–Torugart road (kilometers 506–508, Tüz-Bel), a temporary restriction for all vehicles still remains in effect. A snowstorm continues in this area. Despite the adverse weather conditions, road enterprise No. 957 continues to work on clearing the road and treating it with inert materials. Further information will be provided later,” the message specifies.
It is also reported that traffic on other passes and highways is open.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications strongly recommends that drivers check their tires for winter conditions before departure and strictly adhere to traffic rules.
