In several regions of the country, heavy snowfall continues, leading to changes in weather conditions. Road services are working around the clock to ensure safety on the roads.
According to the Ministry of Transport, the enterprises "Kyrgyzavtozhol-North" and "Kyrgyzavtozhol-South" are actively engaged in clearing the roads and treating the surface with a mixture of sand and salt. Traffic on the highways remains open.
As of 09:00 on December 10, 2025, the situation at the main passes is as follows:
At the Dolon Pass (Bishkek – Naryn – Torugart road), a strong snowstorm is observed, with snowdrifts up to one meter high forming in some places due to gusts of wind. Road crews continue to work non-stop. The temporary restriction on the movement of heavy vehicles, introduced earlier, remains in effect.
At the Too-Ashuu Pass (Bishkek – Osh road), road services continue to clear and treat the road with inert materials. The restriction on the movement of heavy vehicles, established on December 9 at 15:00, will be lifted soon.
The ministry noted that road and operational services are fully controlling their sections and responding promptly to emerging emergencies. Round-the-clock duty has been organized to enhance work efficiency.
The Ministry of Transport strongly recommends that drivers avoid entering the oncoming lane, strictly follow traffic rules, replace summer tires with winter ones, and carry necessary winter equipment.
