On the Too-Ashuu pass, located on the Bishkek – Osh highway, the passage for trucks is temporarily restricted. This measure was introduced due to snowfall, according to a statement from the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
As clarified by the department, work is currently underway on this section of the road to clear the roadway and spread inert materials on the road.
The Ministry urges drivers to strictly adhere to traffic rules, avoid driving into oncoming lanes, and to install winter tires in advance to minimize the risk of accidents.
