According to the Ministry of Transport of the Kyrgyz Republic, as of the morning of December 26, 2025, traffic on all roads in the country is open and there are no restrictions for heavy vehicles.
At the Too-Ashuu pass, located on the Bishkek – Osh road, as well as at the Otmok pass on the Suusamyr – Talas – Taraz road, snowfall is observed. Road services are engaged in clearing the roadway of snow and applying a mixture of sand and salt.
In addition, cleaning and treatment of the road surface with inert materials is being carried out on all roads under the control of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
Representatives of the Ministry of Transport strongly recommend that drivers planning to travel through mountainous areas and passes install winter tires in advance and carry the appropriate equipment.
