Information about the road situation in the country was provided by the Ministry of Transport
The press service of the agency reported that all automobile routes are open for traffic. Previously imposed restrictions on the movement of trucks through the Too-Ashuu pass have been lifted.
However, due to heavy snowfall, traffic for trucks through the Ala-Bel pass is still restricted. Road services are actively engaged in clearing the roads and treating them with a sand-salt mixture.
In its statement, the Ministry of Transport and Communications strongly recommends that drivers replace summer tires with winter ones in advance, as well as carry necessary equipment and strictly follow traffic rules.
