According to information provided by the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic, as of the morning of December 17, all roads at the mountain passes are open.
The previously imposed restrictions for cargo trucks at the Too-Ashuu pass, located on the Bishkek – Osh highway, have been lifted.
However, at the Ala-Bel pass, restrictions for heavy trucks remain in place due to bad weather. New information will be reported later.
It is also noted that road services continue to carry out regular work on clearing the roads and applying a sand-salt mixture.
