The reason is snowfall
The Ministry of Transport and Communications reports that traffic for heavy trucks is restricted at the Too-Ashuu pass, which is on the Bishkek—Osh route. This decision was made due to worsening weather conditions and ongoing snowfall.
To ensure safety on the roads, Road Operation Enterprise No. 9 is conducting road clearing and applying inert materials to the roadway.
The agency urges drivers to be attentive and to follow safety precautions when traveling through mountainous areas and passes. It is recommended to replace summer tires with winter ones in advance and to carry necessary tools.
