According to drivers, on December 19, trucks began to line up along the highway from the village of Sosnovka to the village of Bokso-Zhol, heading towards Bishkek – Osh.
The temporary traffic restriction at the Töö-Ashuu pass has caused the accumulation of freight transport.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, restrictions for heavy trucks have been introduced on the section of the Bishkek – Osh highway starting from the "Sosnovka" post.
The Ministry urges drivers to observe the following safety measures:
- do not drive into oncoming traffic;
- strictly follow traffic rules;
- switch to winter tires instead of summer ones.
The restrictions will be lifted after the stabilization of weather and road conditions.
