It is snowing in the country's mountain passes
According to the press service of the Ministry of Transport, it is currently snowing at the Too-Ashuu and Otmok passes. Work is underway to clear the road surface of snow cover, and a mixture of sand and salt is being spread.
In connection with the worsening weather conditions, the Ministry strongly recommends that drivers planning trips through mountainous areas and passes replace summer tires with winter ones in advance and carry the necessary equipment.
