In the agency's press release, it is stated that the section of the Karakol-Enilchek highway from 38 to 112 kilometers is closed for traffic. This decision is due to the possibility of snow avalanches in the area.
Additionally, the Kar-Goo pass on the Kazarman-Aktalchat route is also temporarily inaccessible due to adverse weather conditions. An alternative route has been provided for motorists.
“It is worth noting that due to changing weather conditions, snowfall is observed in most regions, and road clearing works are being carried out regularly. Road services have organized round-the-clock duty and are spreading a sand-salt mixture on the roads,” the press service reports.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications strongly recommends that drivers replace summer tires with winter ones, carry the necessary equipment, and strictly adhere to traffic rules.
