Almaz Sarybaev, head of the Traffic Police Department for the Ak-Suu district, reported that due to the potential avalanche threat, local residents and tourists are advised to refrain from traveling to Enilchek and the thermal springs located there. Avalanche occurrences in mountainous areas are predicted over the next three days.
From December 17 to 19, 2025, due to expected precipitation in the mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan, including on the 45–90 kilometers of the Karakol—Enilchek highway, there is a forecasted risk of snow avalanches, snow drifts, ice, and slippery road conditions. Drivers should maintain a distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles.
