According to information from the Traffic Safety Department of the Osh Region Internal Affairs Directorate, an avalanche was recorded at the 74.5 kilometer mark of the road, near Tamchy. Additionally, 10 more locations with avalanche formation were discovered on the stretch up to 90 km, which halted traffic on the road.
In this area and the surrounding territories, the active descent of snow masses continues, and clearing operations have been temporarily suspended due to threats to workers. Clearing will resume only after the situation improves.
At the same time, as reported by the Traffic Safety Department, the Osh—Sary-Tash—Irkeshtam road remains open; however, the movement of heavy trucks on it is restricted.
Drivers and residents are strongly advised to avoid travel, adhere to safety measures, and consider information from emergency services.
