According to the official document, traffic is restricted on the section between the 50th and 75th kilometers: from the village of Eki-Naryn to the Kapchigay area. The restriction will be in effect until April 15, 2026.
This decision is related to the onset of the winter season, when heavy snowfall, ice formation, and the likelihood of avalanches are expected in this area. Authorities emphasized that under such conditions, road maintenance becomes extremely difficult, and the closure is necessary to ensure the safety of citizens and prevent serious material losses.
The heads of the Ayil Okmotu of Chet-Nura and Dobolu have been instructed to inform local residents about the road closure. Road Service No. 8 has been ordered to install warning signs, monitor hazardous areas, and adhere to safety measures until traffic is resumed.
