At the 67th kilometer of the road connecting the Kadamjai and Chon-Alai districts, the construction of a new bridge is underway.
As reported by the Kadamjai District Road Maintenance Enterprise No. 46, the load capacity of the new bridge will be up to 40 tons.
With the completion of the bridge construction, free passage for vehicles will be ensured. This will also create the necessary conditions for eliminating landslides that block traffic on the under-construction road from Uch-Korgon to Daroot-Korgon, connecting the two districts. It is expected that clearing the landslides will take from 20 to 30 days.
After the landslide removal work is completed, the road will be ready for operation.
The length of the Uch-Korgon to Daroot-Korgon road is 117 kilometers. Of these, the section from 0 to 67 kilometers runs through the territory of the Kadamjai district of the Batken region, while the remaining 50 kilometers are located in the Chon-Alai district of the Osh region.
