According to them, the construction of a modern and safe bridge took only three months, and its completion has been a long-awaited event for local residents.
“Now traffic in this direction has become more convenient and direct, significantly improving the transport connectivity of the city. The new structure features beams, two layers of asphalt, road markings, and necessary signs. The width of the roadway is 10 meters and it is two lanes. Sidewalks 2.25 meters wide have been installed on both sides of the bridge. To enhance safety at night, the bridge is equipped with lighting and five lamp posts. The length of the bridge reaches 17 meters, and its width is 9 meters,” the official statement reads.
The bridge opening event was attended by Mayor Aibek Junushaliev, residents of nearby houses, and other participants.
The mayor emphasized that this is just the beginning, and the next step will be the opening of the bridge on Auezov Street, which residents are also looking forward to.
The bridge is fully ready for operation and is already open for vehicle traffic.
