Previously, residents of the district faced difficulties waiting for their turn outside, regardless of weather conditions—be it rain, snow, or heat. The appearance of the new waiting room will significantly improve comfort for patients, which, in turn, will enhance the quality of service. The entrance to the laboratory is adorned with a modern screen that broadcasts social videos dedicated to health issues, such as risk factors, the importance of timely visits to a doctor, and disease prevention.
Financial resources for the construction of the new facility and cosmetic repairs were allocated from the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic, according to requests from the institution's management.
The director of the Family Medicine Center, Ainura Kozhobekova, noted that residents often complained about the inconveniences while waiting, and now this problem has been resolved by creating comfortable conditions for patients. The laboratory block, which includes clinical biochemistry, serves residents of the entire district daily. The new waiting room is equipped with benches, air conditioners, and heated floors, which will significantly reduce waiting time and ensure comfort.
In addition, the construction of a new extension has been completed, where the Centralized Sterilization Department will be located. Previously, these procedures were carried out on the third floor of the clinic, which did not meet sanitary standards due to lack of space. The new department includes three specialized rooms, which will significantly improve work efficiency. A special window for receiving biomaterial—sputum from patients suspected of having tuberculosis—has also been organized next to the Centralized Sterilization Department, ensuring safety and control over the sample collection process.
The plans of the Family Medicine Center of the Jayil district include continuing to improve conditions for patients and staff, as well as expanding the range of services provided.
