The most likely places for avalanches include sections of the Bishkek - Osh highway (from the 121st to the 138th km), the Too-Ashuu area, the Ala-Bel pass, and the Chychkan gorge. Avalanches may also occur at the Chapchym pass on the Ala-Buka - Kanysh-Kiya route, as well as on sections of the Krasnaya Gorka - Ak-Tash (0-3 km), Myrzake - Kara-Kulja - Alaykuu (40-90 km), and the Chon-Ashuu pass on the Karakol - Enilchek route, as well as at the Kok-Art pass on the Balykchy - Kazarman - Jalal-Abad highway.
