According to him, about 40 vehicles trapped in the snow were managed to be freed. Currently, the internal roads are open for traffic again.
“The roads Karakol—Razdolnoe and Boz-Uchuk—Jyrgalang were closed due to the blizzard on December 10. Together with the local authorities, we helped evacuate the vehicles that were stuck in snow drifts. At night, when the wind calmed down, our staff began to clear the roads and worked without interruption. As of today, all roads leading to the villages are open. We have also started clearing the pass on the Karakol—Enilchek road. Today, clear weather has settled in the area,” noted A. Dyykanov.
Earlier, Kyrgyzhydromet reported that a sharp drop in temperature is expected in the country from December 8: snow, wind, and fog.

Considering the expected precipitation from December 8 to 10 in the mountainous areas of Kyrgyzstan, as well as on the 68-74 km of the Ala-Buka—Kanysh-Kiya road (Chapchyma pass), on the 3 km of the Krasnaya Gorka—Ak-Tash road, and on the 65-110 km of the Myrza-Ake—Kara-Kulja—Alayku road, avalanches, snow drifts, snow cover, and icing phenomena are likely.
