In the Kara-Kulja district of the Osh region, in the rural municipality of Oi-Tal, on December 10, local residents reported significant snowfall — the snow depth reached almost 1 meter.

As Suymunkula Amatbek uulu, the head of the Oi-Tal rural administration, reported, the snowfall began on December 9 and reached critical levels by the next day.

By December 11, the snow layer had slightly decreased, but the situation remains difficult.

On the Myrza-Ake—Kara-Kulja—Alaykuu road, several snow avalanches occurred, leading to the closure of traffic. Currently, work is underway to clear the roadway.
According to Kyrgyzhydromet, a sharp drop in temperature is expected in the country from December 8: snow, wind, and fog.

On December 10-11, a decrease in temperature is forecasted:

in the Naryn region at night down to -18…-23°, and during the day down to -6…-11°.

Given the expected precipitation from December 8 to 10 in the mountainous areas of the country, as well as on sections of the roads Ala-Buka—Kanysh-Kiya (Chapchyma Pass), Krasnaya Gorka—Ak-Tash, and Myrza-Ake—Kara-Kulja—Alaykuu, there is a possibility of snow avalanches, snow drifts, and the formation of ice.
