According to the agency, work was carried out to free the vehicles from the snow drifts in the villages of Sary-Kamysh, Boz-Uchuk, Kachybek, and Ichke-Jergez. Operational groups from the MES and civil defense services participated in eliminating the consequences of the snowstorm.
To clear the roads of snow, 14 units of special equipment were involved.
It is worth noting that a similar incident also occurred in the Tyup district, where eight cars were freed from snow drifts.
Previously, the MES warned of a possible deterioration in weather conditions from December 8 to 10. Meteorologists predicted the likelihood of avalanches and the formation of snow drifts in mountainous areas due to heavy precipitation.
