
Due to adverse weather conditions, the Ministry of Emergency Situations recommends that drivers exercise particular caution on the roads and take into account the current road situation when planning trips.
According to the information from the Ministry, the areas with an increased risk of avalanches include:
the Bishkek - Osh highway: sections 121–138 km (Too-Ashuu pass) and 198–255 km (Ala-Bel pass, Chychkan gorge);
the Ala-Buka - Kanysh-Kyya road: 68–74 km and 86–101 km (Chapchyma pass);
the section from Krasnaya Gorka to Ak-Tash: 0–3 km;
the road from Myrzake to Kara-Kulja to Alaykuu: 65–110 km;
the Karakol - Enilchek highway: 45–90 km (Chon-Ashuu pass);
the road from Balikchy to Kazarman to Jalal-Abad: 326–349 km (Kok-Art pass).
The Ministry of Emergency Situations strongly urges all road users to adhere to speed limits, maintain distance, and stay informed through emergency services and road organizations.
