According to information, from December 20 to 22, due to expected snowfall, avalanche-prone situations may arise, as well as snow drifts, ice buildup, and slippery conditions on some roads.
The most at-risk areas include:
- the Bishkek — Osh road, kilometers 121–138 (Too-Ashuu Pass);
- the Bishkek — Osh road, kilometers 198–255 (Ala-Bel Pass, Chychkan Gorge);
- the Ala-Buka — Kanysh-Kiya road, kilometers 68–74;
- the Ala-Buka — Kanysh-Kiya road, kilometers 86–101 (Chapchyma Pass);
- the Krasnaya Gorka — Ak-Tash road, kilometers 0–3;
- the Myrza-Ake — Kara-Kuldja — Alayku road, kilometers 65–110;
- the Karakol — Enilchek road, kilometers 45–90 (Chon-Ashuu Pass);
- the Balikchi — Kazarman — Jalal-Abad road, kilometers 326–349 (Kok-Art Pass).
For safety, drivers are advised to maintain a distance of at least 500 meters when passing through these areas.
