In Balakchy, an incident occurred involving a locomotive that derailed and ended up on the highway, reports the state enterprise "Kyrgyz Temir Zholu." According to information from the company, the incident happened on the evening of November 11 in the Issyk-Kul region. Around 21:30, the driver of the diesel locomotive 2TE10V 5051B, due to incorrect control of the automatic brakes, drove onto the prism of track 110, which led to the derailment of three wheel pairs of the front bogie.
The locomotive was lifted and transported to Bishkek by 00:15.
Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries. An investigation into the circumstances of the incident is currently underway.
