Power supply was disconnected around 11:00 in the area of the intersection of the Southern Highway and Aitmatov Avenue. As of 18:07, there was still no electricity.
Representatives of the dispatch service noted that they were unable to locate the damage to the cable. Moreover, the high load on the system does not allow for switching customers to alternative lines.
“The crew has located the damage and is currently conducting repairs. We plan to restore power supply in about an hour and a half,” the dispatch service reported.
