
Due to expected precipitation, snow drifts, ice, and compacted snow may occur on some sections of the roads.
According to information from the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, there is a threat of snow avalanches in the mountainous areas of Kyrgyzstan and on certain sections of the roads, as well as the formation of snow drifts, compacted snow, and ice.
According to the agency, avalanches may descend on sections 198–255 km of the Bishkek—Osh highway (Ala-Bel pass, Chychkan gorge) and 45–90 km of the Karakol—Enilchek road (Chong-Ashuu pass).
In this regard, the Ministry of Emergency Situations strongly recommends that drivers maintain a safe distance of at least 500 meters on dangerous sections of the roads.
