An avalanche that struck the Bishkek-Osh highway was successfully cleared at 11:30, and traffic for vehicles has been reopened in both directions.
According to the Ministry of Transport and Communications, there is currently a restriction on truck traffic established at the "Aral" checkpoint.
According to reports, on March 11 at 6:50 AM, an avalanche occurred at the 224th kilometer of the Bishkek-Osh highway, in the area of the Ala-Bel pass, which led to a temporary blockage of traffic for all types of vehicles in both directions.
At the scene, workers from the road maintenance enterprise No. 23 promptly carried out the necessary clearing operations using special equipment.
