A mass food poisoning incident occurred in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the Department of Disease Prevention and Sanitary Supervision.
According to preliminary data, 13 people sought medical assistance, of which 11 were hospitalized, while the remaining 2 patients received outpatient treatment. Currently, the affected individuals are receiving the necessary medical care.
During the inspection, it was discovered that all the sick individuals had dined at the "Buffet" cafeteria. Sanitary service specialists conducted an unscheduled inspection of the establishment and sent food samples for analysis.
“Based on the results of the inspection, a protocol was drawn up, and the cafeteria was fined 23,000 soms. Its activities have been temporarily suspended since March 11 of this year. The epidemiological investigation is ongoing,” the official statement noted.
