Preparing for the summer season is a great reason to shed extra weight. However, according to preventive medicine doctor Yulia Smirnova, it's important to approach this issue wisely. On average, a safe weight loss norm is 3-4 kilograms per month, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“The desire to lose weight by summer is certainly inspiring, especially when you see attractive outfits in stores. But it’s essential to remember the safety of the process. If you gained 2-3 sizes over the winter, then losing 3-4 kilograms a month is considered optimal. A more rapid weight loss carries the risk of returning to previous figures,” Smirnova explained.

Additionally, the doctor emphasized that it is important to choose the right weight loss methods. The best option would be a balanced diet and a gradual increase in physical activity.
