As of March 11, 1,825 applications have been submitted for participation in the "Social Contract" program in Kyrgyzstan.

The Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration reported that social contracts have already been signed with 607 families, with the largest number of projects—341—related to agriculture. The application process is ongoing.

Since the project started four years ago, contracts have been concluded with 48,557 families who are implementing their business ideas. The majority of projects, specifically 73.3%, relate to agriculture, 13.8% to manufacturing, 6.7% to trade, and 6.2% to services.

Initially, the amount of social assistance under the contract was 100,000 soms, but starting in 2025, it was increased to 150,000 soms. Among the first families to receive contracts, 14 were able to achieve an annual income of over 1 million soms.

Data shows that 94.2% of program participants are women, predominantly from rural areas. As a result of the program's implementation, more than 57,000 new jobs have been created.

According to information, in 2026, 13,333 low-income families across the country will be able to receive 150,000 soms under the "Social Contract" program.
