In the capital, on Jumabek Street, near the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a sanitary pruning of trees in need of care was carried out. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Earlier, local residents expressed concerns in the media, claiming that such actions resemble tree cutting more than pruning. Some of them suggested that the area is being cleared for the creation of a parking lot.
In response to these claims, the Ministry of Internal Affairs explained that they had already contacted the municipal enterprise "Bishkekzelenstroy," as there had been cases of dry branches falling in this area, which poses a danger to passersby.
Following the inquiry, specialists from "Bishkekzelenstroy" conducted an inspection of the green spaces and determined that some poplars were in an emergency state, which could pose a threat.
As a result, specialists from the municipal enterprise performed a sanitary pruning of the upper parts of the trees.
